Jamison Rounds has been working with businesses since 1992 when he interned with the South Dakota Governor's Office of Economic Development. In 2003, as Director of the Governor's Office of Strategic Initiative and in partnership with the South Dakota Enterprise Institute and the Kauffman Foundation for Entrepreneurship, he began facilitating training seminars by angel investors for angel investors on how to organize angel funds and how to value early stage companies. Later he advised start-ups seeking investment and eventually became an M&A advisor and regulatory and transactional valuator.
A CVA and CM&AA, Mr. Rounds straddles two worlds: the more rigorous and academic regulatory valuation world and the highly competitive and intensely practical M&A world. In addition to his M&A and valuation work he is the Chair of the Business School at Mount Marty College in Yankton, South Dakota.
